The main stairwell in the Fondren Library will close on April 12 and remain closed for several months. Access to Fondren East 2 and East 3 is available by using the Science wing elevator to the 2nd floor and crossing over. Staff are available to help you find your way.
Only library staff will have access to the Fondren basement. Request any books from this area at the main desk or by using the link in the library catalog.
Construction on the stairwell will take place early in the day with noise ending around 3pm to avoid the most busy study times. If you are in the library when construction is taking place, we have earplugs available at the main desk. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.
